Maria is passionate about supporting neurodiverse women during life transitions such as pregnancy, birth, parenting and menopause. I bring a depth of focus to the care of neurodivergent women (autism and ADHD). My clinic offers support to women experiencing anxiety, depression, sleep and somatic problems, trauma, stress & burnout, chronic pain and body image difficulties.
I have a strong interest in health psychology, particularly “zebra conditions”, lesser-known, complex health issues, commonly associated with neurodivergence, that have an impact on mental health, such as: Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Dysautonomia, Hypermobility Syndrome, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and functional neurological conditions.
I offer comprehensive psychological assessments, including testing for ADHD, autism, adaptive functioning, cognitive functioning, and executive functioning. My goal is to take a holistic approach to care, offering tailored support that acknowledges both mental health and physical well-being.
With experience in diverse settings including the Australian Defence Force, Toowoomba Hospital, and private practice. I provide individualised care to women across the lifespan and from all walks of life.
Having lived in the rural Darling Downs community for much of my life, I understand the specific challenges of rural living and the importance of accessible, compassionate care.
I hold a Master of Psychology (Clinical), am registered with AHPRA, and am a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
